Answers to your questions and instructions on how to install and use the Southside Temporaries App
Please apply in person Monday-Thursday, 7am-2pm. Bring your driver’s license or state ID, and your social security card along with correct contact information of your past employers. Same day interview and screening.

Southside Temporaries requires a 90-day probationary period for attendance and performance review. Please be sure to have your transportation, child care, and back-up support in place before you start.

Our jobs are all full time, 40 hours a week, some overtime, long-term or try-hire and all three shifts are offered. You must be on time every day to keep production running smoothly.

Our placement services are free of charge, however; associates could be required to have steel toed work boots, a specific shoe, pant, shirt, light safety gear or gloves. You will be notified what your position requires and will be responsible for obtaining needed items before starting.

How to Apply for a Job at Southside Temporaries 


How do I find and add your App to the home screen of my iphone or Ipad? Can I add it to other device brands?


From your Iphone or Ipad click on the following link, http://www.southsidetemporaries.com. Once it opens, choose the center option in the lower browser bar. It looks like a box with an up arrow above it. Once selected, go to the bottom row of options and scroll until you see the ADD TO HOME SCREEN option. Select this option and name the bookmark Southside or Southside Temps. An icon with our logo will show up on the home screen of your iphone or ipad.

You can use the same link to add the app to your Android or other phone types. Follow the instructions for your device, saving a bookmark to your home screen. 


Who  is the Southside Temporaries App designed for? The Associate, Applicant or Client?


For our Associates we offer 24/7 online check in to get their availability submitted for placement. In addiiton, Associates can visit our Facebook page for the most up-to-date job postings via our app.

The Applicant can find out where we are located, application hours, what is needed to apply and how our services work.

Do you pay? Weekly, daily or bi-weekly? How or where do I get paid? 


A majority of our clients pay weekely on Monday or Friday. Some clients have checks delivered to the job site, others can be picked up at our office during office hours 7-4:30 M-Thurs or 7-5:30 Friday.  We do not offer direct deposit. Checks are written locally from our office, and we do not ever mail checks. 


Why do I see some people get placed when I have been waiting for work?


There is no definitive answer for this, many factors go into placement. We have an opportunity for everyone despite their skill set, past employment, background or screening results. All clients have different requirements. We do our best to match you with a client where you will succeed.
